If the attractive force between two objects at a distance ‘d’ is ‘F’. If the distance between them is one fourth of initial distance, what will be the new force?

proportional to the square of the distance(R) between them. => F= 2F, hence force is doubled. => F = 4F, hence force become one – fourth of its initial force. ... => F = 4F, hence force will be four times more than its actual value.
