If the base and perpendicular of a right angled triangle are 9 cm and 12 cm respectively, find the perimeter of that triangle.​

According to Pythagoars theorem

ac^{2}  = ab^{2} + bc^{2}

In right angled triangle,

(hypotenuse)^{2} = (perpendicular)^{2} + (base)^{2}

 = ac^{2}  =  {9}^{2} +  {12}^{2}

 =ac^{2}  = 81 + 144

 = ac =  \sqrt{225}

 ac = 15

Hence, The sides of triangle are 9cm,12cm and 15cm

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides

= 9 + 12 + 15

= 36cm

The perimeter of triangle will be 36cm
