In right angled triangle,

$(hypotenuse)^{2} = (perpendicular)^{2} + (base)^{2}$

$= ac^{2} = {9}^{2} + {12}^{2}$

$=ac^{2} = 81 + 144$

$= ac = \sqrt{225}$

$ac = 15$

Hence, The sides of triangle are 9cm,12cm and 15cm

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides

= 9 + 12 + 15

= 36cm

The perimeter of triangle will be 36cm
