Answer: edge length (a) =5

Explanation:

Given:-

r(body diagonal)=2.5A

a(edge length)=?

If we assume simple cubic unit cell then according to the relation between edge length (a)and radius or a body diagonal(r) which is :- r=a/2

Then ,

Putting the values in the above relation...

2.5=a/2

2.5*2=a

Thus, a =5.0
