If the breadth of a rectangle is 65 m and the perimeter 390 m find the length of the rectangle

Answer: Length = 130m

Explanation :-

breadth \:  = 65m \\ perimeter \:  = 2(l + b)  \\ 2(l + b) = 390 \\ 2(l + 65)m = 390 \\ 2l + 130 = 390 \\ 2l = 390 - 130 \\ 2l = 260 \\ l =  \frac{260}{2}  \\ l = 130 \\ length = 130m

Given,

2× (l + 65) = 390

2l + (2×65 ) = 390

2l + 130 = 390

2l = 390 - 130

= 260

Therefore,

l = 260 ÷ 2
