Equivalence resistance between A&B will be 4 ohm. As current has alternative path which has zero resistance parallel to 6 ohm resistance. ( more current flows through where resistance is less)

Answer:

The resistance 6 ohm is being short circuited

so the equivalent resistance is 4 ohm

Explanation:

Any parallel wire joined with a resistance causes it to be short circuited
