We know that change in velocity is itself acceleration....hence acceleration also increase...
Formula is dv/dt=a
dv/dt=change in velocity
a=acceleration

If the change in velocity increases, then the acceleration level should increases.
It is because a = dv/dt.
When we are keeping the time period same, then the change in velocity increase implies acceleration also increases.
It means that when we actually different velocity which is dv, with repect to the time, which is dt and we can easily get the acceleration which is a.
