circumference of circle is equal to 88 CM
therefore ;
2×pi×r = 88
2 × 22/7 × r = 88
r = 88×7/44
r = 14 cm.
Radius = 14 cm.
Area = pi×r×r
= 22/7×14×14
= 616 cm^2. Please mark as brainliest if it helped you.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given If the circumference of a circle is 88 cm, find its radius and area.

We know that circumference of a circle is given by 2πr

Now they have given circumference = 88 cm.

So 2πr = 88

    r = 88 / 2π

  r = 14 cm

So radius = 14 cm

Now area of circle is given by π r^2

 So A = π r^2

     A = 22 / 7 x 14 x 14

    A = 616 sq cm

So radius = 14 cm and area is 616 sq cm
