Hey

Here is your answer,

Let the measure of other complement angle=x

∴According to the question,
⇒x+ 28= 90 [Sum of Complementary Angles = 90]
⇒x= 90 - 28
⇒x= 62

Now,

Sum of Supplementary Angles =180

⇒y+62=180
⇒y=180-62
⇒y=118

Hope it helps you!

The supplement of the angle is 118°

Given : The complement of an angle is 28°.

To find : The supplement of the angle.

Solution :

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process. (our goal is to calculate the complement of the angle)

We know that, "if sum of two angles becomes 90°, then those two angles are considered to be complementary angles."

Let, the given angle = x°

According to the previously mentioned mathematical definition of complementary angle, we can say that :

90 - x = 28

90 - 28 = x

x = 62

The angle is 62°

We also know that, "if sum of two angles becomes 180°, then those two angles are considered to be complementary angles."

So, the supplement of the angle :

= 180° - The angle

= 180° - 62°

= 118°

(This will be considered as the final result.)

Hence, the supplement of the angle is 118°
