Step-by-step explanation:

The given figure is a rectangle because it's opposite sides are equal

Area of rectangle= Length× Breadth

Length=10cm

Breadth=6cm

6×10=60

Area of given quadrilateral is 60 square cm

Given : coordinates of quadrilateral ABCD are (-3,5) , (3,5) , (3, -5) and (-3,-5)

To Find : area of quadrilateral ABCD

Solution:

A (-3,5) , B (3,5) , C (3, -5) and D (-3,-5)

AB = (3 - (-3)) = 6

BC = (5 - (-5)) = 10

CD = 6

AD = 10

AC = BD = √6² + 10²

Opposite sides are equal Diagonals are equal

Hence Quadrilateral ABCD is a rectangle

Area of rectangle = length * Breadth

=> Area of rectangle =  AB * BC

= 6 * 10

= 60 sq units
