THANKS FOR THE QUESTION !

______________________________

GIVEN :

=> COST OF TOMATOES INCREASED BY 25%

______________________________

LET,

=> THE RATE OF TOMATOES PER KG :

=> 100 X RS

______________________________

NEW PRICE OF TOMATOES :

=> 25% INCREASE :

=> 25% OF COST PRICE :

=> 25 % OF 100X

=> 25 / 100 * 100X

=> 25X

______________________________

NEW COST PRICE :

=> OLDER + INCREASE

=> 100X + 25X

=> 125X

______________________________

=> AS PER THE COST PRICE SHUBHA PAID 100X EACH TIME .....

______________________________

BUT,

=> THIS TIME SHE WANTS TO INCREASE THE EXPENDITURE BY ONLY 15%

=> 15% OF 100X

=> 15 / 100 * 100X

=> 15X

_______________________________

HER BUDGET NOW,

=> COST PRICE + INCREASE

=> 100X + 15X

=> 115X

_______________________________

THE AMOUNT WHICH SHE NEEDS TO DECREASE :

=> NEW RATE - HER BUDGET

=> 125X - 115X

=> 10X

______________________________

DECREASE IN THE QUANTITY :

=> 10X / 125X = ? / 100

=> ? = 100 * 10X / 125X

=> ? = 8 %

______________________________

TO FIND ;

=> QUANTITY OF TOMATOES DECREASED ...

_______________________________

DECREASED QUANTITY OF TOMATOES :

=> 8% OF 1000 G

=> 8 / 100 * 1000 G

=> 80 G

_______________________________

=> SHE WILL GET 80G TOMATOES LESSER THAN EACH TIME.....

_______________________________

HOPE IT WILL HELP U MATE ...

THANKS AGAIN......
