If the current in a wire is flowing in the vertically downward direction and a magnetic field is applied from West to East, what is the direction of force on the wire? The answer is southward direction but I get it as North. I could able to get it as South if I consider magnetic field is from East to West. Pls help me solve this. Pls kindly send the pic on how to fold the hand correctly!
