if the density of air at normal temperature and pressure be 1.293 kg m^-3, the density of mercury at 0 degree be 13.6 * 10^3 kg m^-3, cp =0.2417, find the speed of sound in 100 degree

The density of air is 1.293 kg/m^3

1 kg = 1000 g

1 m^3 = 1000000 cm^3 = 10^6 cm^3

1.293 kg/m^3

= 1.293 × (1000 g/1 kg) × (10^-6 cm^3/1 m^-3)

= 0.001293 g/cm^3

If wrong, please let me know.

pushpitamou24: No. The answer you have written is just the conversion from one unit to another. but i actually want the speed of the sound
srijitachakravorty: oh
srijitachakravorty: sorry
srijitachakravorty: are you bengali?
pushpitamou24: ya
srijitachakravorty: even i am bengali
