If the density of iron is 7.8 g / cm3, indicate how much volume will be formed if 100L of CO are reacted.

This reaction is previously adjusted
Fe2 O3 (s) + CO (g) --------------> CO2 (g) + Fe (s)

balanced this equation ,

Fe2O3 + CO → CO2 + Fe

step 1 :-

6H+ +Fe2O3 →2 Fe + 3H2O -6e ----(1)

step2 :-

H2O + CO→ CO2 + 2H+ + 2e ----(2)

step3 :-

eqn (2) × 3 + eqn (1)
then,

Fe2O3 + 3CO → 3CO2 + 2Fe
above is balanced equation .

now, here we see that , 3 mole of CO form 2 mole of Fe

hence,
3×22.4 L of CO form 2× 56 g of Fe

so,
1L of CO form 112/67.2 g of Fe

100 L of CO form 112/67.2× 100g of Fe

so, weight of iron form = (112.67.2)× 100g
now,
volume = mass × density
= (112/67.2)× 100× 7.8 L
= 1300 L
