Weight of Methanol required to prepare 2500 ml.of 0.25M Solution

= 2.5 x Mole.Wt x 0.25 g.

Molecular weight of Methanol= 32

So Weight of Methanol required= 2.5 x 32 x 0.25= 20 g.

Volume of Methanol required =20/0.793= 25.22 ml.

So on diluting 25.22 ml.of Methanol with distilled water and then making up the Solution to 2500 ml, will give you 0.25M , Solution of Methanol.
