density = .5 g/cm3
volume= 1cm3
now mass=?
we know that-
density = mass/vol
mass= d × v
= .5 ×1
=.5 g ans

Given : the density of wood is 0.5 g/cm³

To Find :  the mass of a piece of wood of volume  1 cm³

Solution:

Density = Mass / Volume

Mass = m g

Density = 0.5 g/cm³

Volume = 1 cm³

0.5 = m/1

=> m = 0.5 * 1

=> m = 0.5 g

the mass of a piece of wood of volume  1 cm³ = 0.5 g
