Let the radius of circle be r

According to question,

2pi r - r = 37

=> r ( 44/7 - 1) = 37

=> r ( 44 - 7) / 7 = 37

=> r × 37 /7 = 37

=> r = 7

Area of circle = pi r^2

= 22 × 7 × 7 / 7

= 22 × 7

= 154 cm^2

Circumference - radius = 37 cm

2πr - r = 37

r( 2π - 1 ) = 37

r ( 44 - 7 ) = 37×7

r ( 37 ) = 37 × 7

r = 7 cm

Then,

Area = πr²
=> Area = 22/7 ÷ 7 × 7
=> Area = 22×7
=> Area = 154cm²
