Smallest five digit perfect cube= 10648( 22x22x22 )

Largest four digit perfect cube= 9261( 21x21x21 )

Difference= 1331

1331 is a perfect cube of the number 11

11x11x11= 1331

I think this is the answer.

I really hope this answer helps you!

mmcian: how the difference come 1331
mmcian: i got the same
aryasudheesh06: I am so sorry. The difference is not 1331. It is 1027.And I do not think 1027 is a perfect cube.
Arpit2621: hey the difference is 1387
avneiljiya: let b3 be the greatest four-digit perfect cube

so obviously (b+1)3 is the greatest four-digit perfect cube

so then

a = (b+1)3 -b3 = 3b2+3b+1

now we find b

b is the greatest interger smaller then the cube root of 104 (5 digits)

so b = 21

a = 3(21)2+3(21)+1

a=1387

the we have the value d which we have to find so

d3=a-56=1331

which is we cube root 1331 we ge

d=11
