Answer

  1. x = 50°
  2. ( 90 - x ) = 40°

Given

  • Difference between two complementary angles is 10 degree

To Find

  • Angles

Solution

Complementary angles are , " x " , " ( 90 - x ) " .

A/c , " Difference between two complementary angles is 10 degree "

x - ( 90 - x ) = 10

⇒ x - 90 + x = 10

⇒ 2x - 90 = 10

⇒ 2x = 100

x = 50°

So , First angle , x = 50°

Other angle , 90 - x = 90 - 50 = 40°

Given :

  • Difference between two complimentary angle is 10°.

To find :

  • The angles.

According to the question,

  • Complementary angle means 90°

→ x - ( 90 - x ) = 10

→ x - 90 + x = 10

→ 2x - 90 = 10

→ 2x = 10 + 90

→ 2x = 100

→ x =100 ÷ 2

.°. x = 50°

  • First angle is 90°
  • Other angle is 90 - x = 90 - 50 = 40°
