if the difference of two numbers is 15 and their ratio is 3:2 find the number

Let the no.be XandY.
then,
ATQ, X-Y= 15 and, (1)
X/Y= 3/2...i.e....X= 3y/ 2. (2)
Now, from (1)equation.,
X= 15+Y.....(3).
From (2), (3)....X= 15+Y = 3y /2.
= 2(15+Y) = 3Y.
= 30+2Y = 3Y
= 30= 3Y-2Y.
so, Y = 30.
then, X= 15+Y.= 15+ (30).
x= 45.
Hence, one no.is 45 and another one is 30
