By using,
c = s/t
$3 \times {10}^{8} = \frac{1.5 \times {10}^{11} }{t} \\ = > t = \frac{1.5 \times {10}^{11} }{3 \times {10}^{8} } \\ = > t = \frac{1.5 \times {10}^{3} }{3} \\ = > t = 0.5 \times {10}^{3} seconds$

So t is the time taken by light to reach arth
