Let the edge of given cube be a
TSA of given cube = 6 * a^2 ------------(1)
Edge of new cube = 3a
TSA of new cube = 6* (3a)^2
= 6*9a^2
= 54a^2 ----------(2)
By equation 1 and 2, we can say that
TSA of new cube = 9 * TSA of given cube
TSA of given cube = 6 * a^2 ------------(1)
Edge of new cube = 3a
TSA of new cube = 6* (3a)^2
= 6*9a^2
= 54a^2 ----------(2)
By equation 1 and 2, we can say that
TSA of new cube = 9 * TSA of given cube
