The Standard equation for current =
i = A sin(2πf)t
2πf = omega
Thus comparing with standard equation we get 100π = 2πf
Thus frequency f = 50Hz

the frequency of electric current is 50 Hz

equation of an electric current is represented by i = 0.6 sin(100πt)

we have to find the frequency of electric current.

standard equation of electric current is given by, i = i0 sin(2πf t) , where i0 is peak value of current and f is the frequency of electric current.

on comparing we get,

100π = 2πf

⇒f = 100π/2π = 50 Hz

hence, the frequency of electric current is 50 Hz.
