using formula, Tn = a + (n - 1)d
⇒100 = 2 + (n - 1)d
⇒98 = (n - 1)d .............(1)
now sum of n terms, Sn = n/2[2a + (n - 1)d ]
= n/2[ 2 × 2 + 98]
= n/2[ 102 ]
= 51n
hence sum of n terms of given AP is 51n
