The frequency = 2 hz = 2 oscillation/ sec

=> it makes 2 oscillations in one seconds

=> in 16 seconds it will make = 2 x 16 = 32 oscillations

or

Number of oscillation = ft

where f = frequency = 2 Hz

t = time = 16 seconds

Hence number of oscillations = 2 x 16 = 32

Hence it will make 32 oscillations in 16 seconds.

Given :

Frequency of a simple pendulum = f= 2 Hertz.

Time =t=16 sec

as we know that Frequency is defined as number of oscillations per time.

Frequency=Oscillations/time

f= oscillations/t

oscillations =fxt

=2x16

=32 oscillations.

∴ Number of oscillations in 16 seconds is = 32 oscillations.
