30 Mhz = 30 * 1000000 Hz = 3 * 10^7 Hz.

If the wave is an EM wave, speed = 3 * 10^8 m/s.

Frequency * wavelength = speed.

So, wavelength = Speed/frequency = 3 * 10^8 / 3 * 10^7 m = 10 m.

...And if it's not an EM wave, then there's no answer.

So. Yeah.

Deal with it.

Given:

The frequency of the wave = 30 MHz

To Find:

The wavelength of the wave

Solution:

If the frequency of a wave is 30 megahertz then its wavelength is 10m.

A wave's speed can be described in terms of its frequency and wavelength.

The speed of the wave is the product of its wavelength and frequency.

Mathematically, v = μλ

Taking v = 3 X 10⁸ m/s and substituting in the above formula,

3 X 10⁸ m/s = 30 MHz X λ

We know that 1 MHz = 10⁶ Hz

⇒ 30 MHz = 3 X 10⁷ Hz

So,

3 X 10⁸ =  3 X 10⁷ X λ

or λ = 3 X 10⁸/3 X 10⁷

= 10m
