0 degree + 30 degree = 30 degree
30 degree * 4min = 120 min
120/60 hrs = 2 hrs
= (12+2) hrs = 14 hrs
= 2:00 pm
so answer = 2:00 pm

The Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT) is at longitude of  0°.

It is given that the GMT time is 12 noon (i.e) 12 pm.

Now, let us find the local time of a place that is located at the longitude of 30°E.

Solution:

On Earth, each degree of longitude change accounts for four minutes.

So, for 30 degrees, shift in time will be 30*4 = 120 minutes or 2 hours .

For East direction, time is ahead of GMT.

Therefore, local time of the given place is 2 pm.
