Concentration of H⁺ = 0.000001 M

= 10⁻⁶ M.

Using the Formula,

pH = -log [H⁺]

⇒ pH = - log [10⁻⁶]

⇒ pH = 6log10

⇒ pH = 6 [∵ log 10 = 1]

Now, we know that

pH + pOH = 14

⇒ pOH = 14 - pH

∴ pOH = 14 - 6

∴ pOH = 8

Hope it helps.
