If the HCF of two numbers is 1, then the two numbers are called co-prime or relatively prime

Solution:

Given that,

HCF of two numbers is 1

If the highest common factor (HCF) of two numbers is equal to 1, then they are called co-prime or relatively prime

Example : 18 and 35 are co-prime

Factors of 18 are 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 18

Factors of 35 are 1, 5, 7 and 35

We can see, 1 is the only common factor of 18 and 35

Thus 18 and 35 are co-prime

Therefore, two numbers that has only 1 as the common factor are co-prime numbers
