Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

A hemisphere is kept on the plane such that

circular part lies on plane and the length covered by circular part of hemisphere is 2r.

To find the height of hemisphere and volume .

So,

As per given condition,

Height of hemisphere = length of radius of hemisphere.

= r

Therefore, height of hemisphere = r.

And

Volume of hemisphere =

 \frac{2}{3} \pi {r}^{3}

=

 \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{3}

 =  \frac{44}{21}  {r}^{3}

Therefore, volume of hemisphere is

 \frac{44 {r}^{3} }{21}
