if the image formed by a mirror for all positions of the object placed in front of it is always erect and diminished what type of mirror is it ? draw a ray diagram to justify your answer . where and why do we generally used this type of mirror????

Hey dea...!

The type of mirror is covex mirror.

We use this type of mirror in rear-view mirror, street lights,etc.

For the ray diagrams u can see the ray diagrams of convex mirror in ncert science textbook .

convex mirror is used 
It gives a small field of view so that a larger area can be viewed. This is because the convex mirror is curved outwards
