Given:-

To Find:-

•How much percent the income of Y is less than that of X?

Solution:-

Let assume the income of Y is 100 rupees.

As given in the information income of x is 25%

more than that of y so X's income is = 125 rupees and Y's income is = 100 rupees.

X's income is =100rupees and Y's income is

 \: \: \sf \: \frac{100}{125} \times 100 = 80 \: rupees

Y's income is less than X's income by 100 - 80 = 20%.
