Volume of wood used in box =  3321 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Internal dimensions of a closed box made up of wood 1.5 cm thick are 24 cm ,18 cm and 12 cm

Internal Volume of the Box = 24 * 18 * 12  cm³

Thickness = 1.5 cm

Thickness is on 6 faces of Box

Outer Volume

= (24 + 1.5 + 1.5) * (18 + 1.5 + 1.5) * ( 12 + 1.5 + 1.5)

= 27 * 21 * 15 cm³

Volume of wood used in box =  27 * 21 * 15 - 24 * 18 * 12

= 8505 - 5184

= 3321 cm³

Volume of wood used in box =  3321 cm³
