ke  = \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

2600 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 13 \times  {v}^{2}

 \frac{2600 \times 2}{13}  =  {v}^{2}

 {v}^{2}  = 400

v =   \sqrt{400}

v = 20 \: m {s}^{ - 2}

Given

  • Kinetic Energy = 2600 J
  • Mass = 13 kg

To Find

  • Velocity of the body

Solution

Kinetic Energy = ½mv²

Velocity of the body :

→ Kinetic Energy = ½mv²

  • Kinetic Energy = 2600 J
  • m = Mass = 13 kg
  • v = Velocity = ?

→ 2600 = ½ × 13 × v²

→ 2600 × 2 = 13v²

→ 5200 = 13v²

→ 5200/13 = v²

→ 400 = v²

→ v = √400

→ v = 20 m/s

∴ Velocity of the body is 20 m/s
