supplemantary angles have a sum of 180°
let the angles be x and y
then x+y=180°
but according to the question x=38+y
putting this equation in the previous one ...we get
x+x+38°=180°
x=71.....which means that 71+ y= 180
y= 108°

Let the smaller supplementary angle be x,
Then, another angle = x + 38
Supplementary angles:-
The sum of two angles are 180°
Therefore,. x + x + 38 = 180
2x = 142
x = 71
And x + 38 = 71 + 38 = 109.
Hence,the angles are 71 and 109
