If the largest angle of an isosceles triangle measures 106 degrees, what is the measure of the smallest angle?

sum of angle in triangle is 180

therefore 106 can't be the base angles

hence 106 is the vertex angle

106 + x + x = 180

2x = 180 - 106

x = 74/2

x = 37

therefore the smallest angle is 37°
