If the length and breadth of a rectangle are 36cm and 24cm respectively. Find

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Area of rectangle = L×B

Solution:-

Perimeter of rectangle

»» 2(l+b) = 2(36+24)

= 2× 60

Hence the perimeter of rectangle is 120 cm.

Area of rectangle

»» L×B = 36×24

= 864 cm²

Hence the area of rectangle is 864 cm².
