Let the length and width of rectangle be a And b
Perimeter = 2(a+b)
New length = 2a
New width = 2b
New perimeter = 2(2a+2b)
= 4(a+b)
Perimeter of new rectangle is 2 times the original
Perimeter = 2(a+b)
New length = 2a
New width = 2b
New perimeter = 2(2a+2b)
= 4(a+b)
Perimeter of new rectangle is 2 times the original
