let length be 'x' and width be 'y'
so area of rectangle = xy

( ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION )

length = x + 120/100

width = y - 20/100

so, new area becomes,

= x+120/100 × y - 20/100

= (x + 6/5) × (y - 1/5)

= xy - 1/5x + 6/5y - 6/25
