Let the length = 100

breadth=100

Area = l×b

=100×100

=10000sq unit

after increasing and decreasing

length=100+4=104

breadth=100-5=95

area = l×b

=104×95

=9840 sq units

difference =10000-9840

=160

% = difference/original number × 100

=160/10000 × 100

=8/5%
