=> x/2=y+y/4 (1)

Srectangle is xy ; Ssquare is x^2/4

xy/(x^2/4) = xy*4/x^2=y*4/x with (1) we have y=x/2-y/4

=> (2x-y)/x with (1) have (4y)/(2y+y/2) =4y/(5y/2)  so the ratio is 8/5

Vrectangle is 2(x+y); Vsquare is 4*(x/2);

2(x+y)/2x=(4y+y+2y)/(4y+y) = 7y/5y = 7/5
