Given :- Length of DNA = 68 A°

( Dna stand has 68 × 3.4 = 20 base pair )

Note :- 1 Base pair = 2 Base , like Base are found in DNA: adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C), and guanine (G).

where ,

  • adenine forming a base pair with thymine
  • cytosine forming a base pair with guanine

We know :- 4 nucleotides = 2 Base pair

so,

40 nucleotides = 20 base pair

Here, 68 × 3.4 = 20 base pair = 40 Nucleotides

"The number of nucleotides present in Dna is 40"
