hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

let the side of the cube be x.

therefore it's TSA (surface area) = 6x²

if side of the cube is doubled, then the side will be 2x.

TSA of the new cube = 6(2x)²

= 6×4x²

= 24x²

change = 24x²/6x²

= 24/6

= 4

hence, change in area is 4 times the original surface area of the cube.

hope this helps..!!

let length of cube is 1 cm
t.s.a=6l²=6×1×1=6cm²
after doubling 1×2=2cm
t.s.a=6×2×2=24cm²
after doubling again
t.s.a=6×4×4=96cm²
so change is the t.s.a is old t.s.a×4
hope it helps
