if the length of one diagonal of a rhombus is 16 cm and measure of each side is 10 cm. find the length of other diagonal.​

Answer:

let ad be the diagonal and o be the intersection point of the diagonals then

in abcd in triangle aob

ab^2=oa^2+ob^2

10^2=8^2+ob^2

100=64+ob^2

36=ob^2

6=ob

then

oc=ob (diagonals of rhombus bisect each other)

oc+ob=bc

6+6=bc

bc=12cm
