Given:

• Length of the rectangle = (x+2) cm

• Breadth of the rectangle = (x+1) cm

To find :

• Area of the rectangle .

Solution :

• As we know that ;

• Area of rectangle = l×b

=> Area = (x+2)(x+1)

=> Area = x² +2x +x+2

=> Area = x² + 3x + 2.

Area of rectangle = ( + 3x + 2)cm².

Given :-

Length = x + 2 cm

Breadth = x + 1 cm

To Find :-

Area

Solution :-

We know that

Area = l × b

Area = (x + 1)(x + 2)

Area = (x × x) + (1 × x) + (x × 2) + (1 × 2)

Area = x² + x + 2x + 2

Area = x² + 3x + 2 cm²
