The probability of the word equation is 1/8 and if we take away the letters N and E then it becomes 1/6 why because now only 6 letters are available

Answer:

The probability that there are exactly six letters between n & e is  12.85

Step-by-step explanation:

Word EQUATION has 8 letters

so total number of word can be formed are 8!

For exactly Six letters between N and E

N_ _ _ _ _ _E_ ,

And similarly other 5 will be formed by interchanging Q and S

so total favourable outcomes=1*6*6!

Probability =\frac{1*6!*6!}{8!} =518400

\frac{518400}{40320} \\=12.85
