If the liabilities of the business is Rs.15,000 and capital is Rs.25,000. Assets without cash in hand are Rs.35,000. Find out the cash balance of the business. ​

liabilities = 15,000

capital =25,000

so total liability (as capital falls under liabilities in the balance sheet) = 40,000

non cash asset = 35,000.

the only possibility of cash balance is 5,000 as L and A on balance sheet should tally.
