Answer:

12

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the lower limit be 3x and the upper limit be 5x.

Class limit = 6 ( given )

Also, class size =

Upper limit - Lower limit

Thus,

5x - 3x = 6

2x = 6

x = 6 / 2 = 3

Therefore,

Lower limit = 3x = 3 × 3 = 9

Upper limit = 5x = 5 × 3 = 15

Class mark =

( Lower limit + Upper limit ) / 2

= ( 9 + 15 ) / 2

= 24 / 2

= 12

Answer :

Let ,

Upper limit = 5x

Lower limit = 3x

Class Size = upper limit - lower limit

6 = 5x-3x

6 = 2x

6/2 = x

3 = x

Lower limit = 3x = 3×3 =9

Upper limit = 5x = 5×3= 15

Class mark = lower limit+upper limit/2

= 9+15 /2

= 24/2 = 12

Hope it helps you .....
