hey user !!!!

mass of a body on earth=9.8 kg
so,, mass in moon=??

theirfore ,, we know that mass of every object or body remains constant everywhere..

ACCORDING TO THIS STATEMENT MASS OF THAT OBJECT REMAINS 9.8 KG IN MOON ALSO..

if it is asked that what will be the weight,, then you can apllly the formula ..

mass of an object is 1รท6 the mass of that object in moon.

hope it helps u

MASS ON MOON WILL BE SAME AS THAT OF EARTH !

As per the question , the mass of an object on the earth surface is 9.8 kg.

  • Mass is a physical quantity defined by the the amount of space occupied by an object.

  • So, mass is independent of the location of the object.

So, irrespective of earth, moon or any other planets, the mass of the object will always remain same (i.e. 9.8 kg)

  • However, please note that weight is a vector quantity which is dependent on the gravitational force on a particular place.

  • So, the weight of the object will vary on earth, moon and any other planet.

\star Hope It Helps.
