the mean of 10,12,18,13,P and 17 is 15
the mean=sum of all observations/number of observations
=》15=(10+12+18+13+17+P)/6
=》15×6=70+P
=》90-70=P
therefore, P=20

Hello ✌️☺️❤️

We know that ;

Mean = \mathcal{\frac { Sum \: of \: observation }{Number \:of \:observation}}

Mean = \tt{\frac {10 + 12 + 18 + 13 + p + 17 }{6}}

=> 15 = \tt{\frac {70 + p }{6}}

=> 15 × 6 = 70 + p

=> 90 = 70 + p

=> p = 90 - 70

=> p = 20

Therefore , value of p is 20.
