If the mean of 12,8,14,2P, and 20 is 16 then find the value of P.

sum of terms =
$12 + 8 + 14 + 2p + 20 = 54 + 2p$
no of terms= 5
mean = (54 + 2p)÷ 5
but, mean= 16
so, (54+2p)÷5 = 16 or 54+2p = 80 or p = 13
